Plan Your Visit

With patients traveling from across the country to our two locations in Santa Monica, CA and Irvine, CA, the Hyperthermia Cancer Institute understands that overcoming cancer requires a significant time commitment. If you are visiting from out of town, we can guide you with travel and lodging to make your visit as seamless as possible. Our caring patient team is here to help plan your visit, handling the details so you can focus on healing.

Santa Monica Accommodations & Travel

Lodging

If you require housing for the duration of your hyperthermia treatments, we offer a list of preferred Airbnb hosts within walking distance to our center. Additionally, there are several hotels in the area offering a discounted rate to our patients. If you need lodging assistance during your stay, please call us at 866.399.2286.

Air Travel

For our patients requiring air travel, we work with a philanthropic organization whose mission is to offset the cost of medical travel for patients and their families. Angel Flight West, for those that qualify, uses donated flights to serve people with medical or other pressing needs. Stay Active During Your Stay

While undergoing hyperthermia therapy, most patients feel well enough to take advantage of beautiful Southern California by enjoying the arts, culture, and other local attractions in Santa Monica and the surrounding areas. Transition of Care Support

While patients receive hyperthermia treatment, many patients choose to continue their current medical care and/or explore new treatment options. Dr. Pinzone and our team are here to help coordinate other healthcare services. Typically, patients are referred to medical oncologists to continue or initiate chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
